As the conference approaches, delegates will have to prepare themselves accordingly based on their role type (journalist, ngo, country rep. and pharmaceutical rep.). Below you will find links to various resources along with a list of tasks that the MonWHO team highly suggests to delegates to go through. These tasks along with the various tutorials that will shortly appear, will help the delegate better understand how the conference functions, and in turn help them be more successful at achieving the goals the delegates deems important for their role.

   A Delegate’s TO-DO List

  • If you haven’t done so already, read the Pre-conference guide to gain an idea of everyone’s roles, which can be found HERE.
  • Read the theme guide, that can be found HERE in .pdf format.
  • Read the Rules of Procedures, found HERE.
  • Complete the quiz on the Rules of Procedures, found HERE, once the latter has been read.
  • View the different tutorial videos HERE.
  • Read the position paper guidelines found in two formats:
    • In .pdf format HERE.
    • In HTML format HERE.
  • Do the necessary research for your position paper.
  • Write your position paper.
  • Send your position paper to charge@monwho.org, with the following as the subject title :

 

Position paper for position_name (position_type)

 

 

where position_name is the name of your position, and position_type is either NGO rep., Pharmaceutical Rep., Journalist or Country Rep..

Some examples:

    • Journalist playing as CNN example: Position paper for CNN (Journalist).
    • Country Rep. playing as China example: Position paper for China (Country Rep.).
  • Keep yourself updated on current news relating to your position. The more you know about your position, the better you will be able to argue your points at the conference.
